Red Boteh Scarf

See, although the blog has been relatively quiet, I have been busy behind the scenes.  Now that the recipient has received her scarf, I can blog it!

It’s in the Lincraft Bamboozle yarn again.  I really love the Boteh Scarf, and this one has come up a treat.  I am so thrilled that she loves it, and that I got the colour and style just right!  It’s a warm fuzzy feeling when you can brighten someone else’s day with a handmade gift.  Hubby thinks that it brings good karma.

Miss Stella likes it too!

Edited to add:  the pattern for the scarf is from Interweave Crochet Spring 2007.

I have the pattern for this scarf and after seeing your entry I decided to purchase some Bamboozle yarn in ivory. I ordered 2 skeins but when it arrived I realized that might not be enough. How many skeins did you go through when you created the red one?

Hi Dawn - there is not much of the Bamboozle on a ball - it took about SIX balls to make a scarf! Good luck!

The scarf is AMAZING and the excitement Jodie overflowed telling us about it all was just fantastic. She truely loves it and enjoys the generosity of people in blogland. You made her day VERY special.

THAT is such a beautiful scarf. I am getting back into knitting after about oooo 10 years and am stuck on the scarf. I just think it is a fabulous item to try out new stitches and different yarns. Next on my list is to re-teach myself to crochet…
