I love the way you interpret the patterns…weigh up what you want and alter instructions to suit. Documenting this may give others the confidence to go with their creative instincts and change a few things. You do seem to get it right and this very cute coat is a fine example. Excellent photos, she is quite the young model.

I feel the same about knitted projects. I love when they can be knitted all in one piece. I love the shape and fluidity (is that a word?) of that top – the colour really suits Stella.

Crochet Today! is quite a good mag. I always look forward to receiving it in the post every couple of months. The coat looks wonderful I’m always worried that if I am to crochet something in bits, those bits aren’t going to be the same size and it’s all going to be wonky when put together…
