Vintage crochet Friday #80

When away on holidays earlier this month I had a successful rummage through the local op-shops and picked up some old crochet patterns. Most are from the late sixties and early seventies.  So it’s back to vintage crochet Friday – the sublime and the ridiculous (all depending on your point of view).

This is wonderful!  But I don’t think that I have the patience to crochet an adult sized dress (yet).

  1. Now this I love but my arm would definitely fall off if I attempted it!

  2. It is a beautiful piece! I have some of my mom/grandma’s old crochet patterns. I should send you pics some time!

  3. Hi! I have loved your blog for a few months now and love the vintage crochet! It gives me such a lift to know there are wonderful women keeping these arts alive and well. I’d be showing my age if I told you I remember making a dress like that when I was 19yrs old!
Carry on, and keep your fingers busy!

  4. I absolutely love this vintage find! 70′s inspired crochet stuff is all over the runways this year but I think the real patterns from those days are the best.

  5. Its a lovely pattern. I wonder how long it would take to crochet?
