Family weddings are such a blast! We had a wonderful time at Leah and Daniel’s wedding yesterday, despite the cold and wind. The rain held off and everyone looked gorgeous. Here are the happy couple.
Oh wait, thats the old married happy couple! Here’s the just married.
The bride and groom just beamed all afternoon and evening. Speeches were lovely, and the groom even played the guitar and sang a song he’d written especially for his bride. Aw, so sweet!
One of my sisters-in-law happens to be an award winning cake decorator – so her gift to the couple was the wedding cake.
I haven’t danced so much for a LONG long time. I may have embarassed my nephews and their girlfriends by shaking my groove thing on the dance floor all evening. The music ranged from songs I remember from my uni days (late 80s) through to current songs that I surprisingly knew as well – because they play them at the gym!
It was wonderful seeing the young couple so very happy and very much in love, and for family and friends to have the opportunity to share in their very special day. We were all blessed.
And yes, I do think that I scrubbed up okay after all – although all the bright young things were wearing one-shouldered dresses that finished well above the knee, accessorised with very high heels. They looked fabulous!
(By the way – my computer is STILL not working. I have access to the internet via our laptop, but I still don’t have access to email addresses or any of the other data or programs stored on my computer. So my apologies if you are waiting to hear from me about anything! Hopefully soon if we keep all fingers and toes crossed).

You look fabulous! I love the last photo of you and your husband. I’m glad the young things looked glam at the wedding; I went to one on the weekend which featured way too many women hanging out of their dresses!
