Thanks to Sheridan I get to show you a sneak peak of the blocks that everyone has done so far for MY block swap quilt!

I am thrilled at how this is coming along, but already my mind is swirling with possibilities for joining the blocks. Sashing between each block? Sashing between groups of blocks? No sashing at all? Random colour placement? Graduation of colour from light at one end to dark at the other? Or from the centre outwards?
If I keep on thinking about all the options my brain just might explode.

Wow Lara – you have really taken off with this patchwork thing! – could it be a new addiction?

Wow, I never thought of all those options of how to lay them out! There are many, many great possibilities.

I hadn’t even considered my blocks being a quilt. But you have brought up some great ideas. We will have to revisit these again when we get all of the blocks back.

A girl’s gotta have options… Also I need a Peter to tell me to put my manners back in. Thanks for the wine tonight – it hit the spot.

Or you could turn them on point and separate them with plain diamonds for a REALLY large quilt…. (I did that once, and it looks great).
